Cozy coffee mug on wooden table — quiet time with God, simple devotionals for busy women

You want to be close to God.
Real life just keeps getting in the way.

If that’s you and you’re not quite sure where to begin, or where faith fits in your actual life, you’re in the right place.

If you’d like somewhere to begin, I put together a simple devotional you can walk through at your own pace. Five finishable moments with God in the middle of your everyday life.

Whether you’re opening your Bible for the first time or coming back after a long break, this is a gentle way to begin again.

Just small, honest moments with God.

This is a place for you if…

  • You’re in a full season and don’t know where time with God fits anymore

  • You’ve started Bible studies but never made it past day three

  • You know God is near, you just want to notice Him in your everyday life

  • You’re not always sure what to say when you pray, so you don’t say much at all

You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re right where God can meet you.

Cindy Bennett — Christian writer and speaker helping busy women find simple devotionals and quiet time with God

Hi, I’m Cindy.

My first ministry is home. And it’s where I first learned that the noise doesn’t have to disappear for something real with God to begin.

I help women be with Jesus in real life.

Not in perfectly planned quiet times,
but in the middle of full days, laundry piles, and everything we’re carrying.

A moment I’ve never forgotten…

Elephant inspiration for Cindy Bennett's story about feeling seen by God — Christian encouragement for overwhelmed women

God used an elephant

I was standing in front of an elephant, massive, steady, and gentle all at the same time.

And then, with people all around, he lifted his trunk and blasted my face with water. It caught me off guard, but what stayed with me wasn’t the unexpected surprise or my freshly soaked face.

It was how it made me feel.

In the middle of a crowd, I was noticed.
I didn’t do anything to earn it.

I felt… seen.

It might sound simple, but it stayed with me. Because the more I’ve walked with God, the more I’ve realized that’s how He meets us.

Not when we finally have it all together.
Not when we’ve kept up or done enough.

But right here. In the life we’re actually living.

And somewhere along the way, I started to wonder:
Maybe that’s how He meets you too.

Seen.
Known.
Loved.

God sees you—right here in the holy ordinary.
